Founded in 2022 by Sara Chakeris, Chakeris was created with the vision of making trendy yet timeless fashion feel effortless and accessible. Originally from Charleston, Sara launched the brand while living in New York City after graduating college.

Fashion has always been a major influence in Sara’s life, inspired by her mother, Caroline Chakeris, founder and designer of Madison Mathews. Growing up, Caroline always encouraged Sara to “do what you love,” a mindset that ultimately led her to create Chakeris.

What started as a creative outlet quickly gained attention, including being featured on the front page of The New York Times. Since then, Chakeris has been featured in Vanity Fair and Vogue.
